A(nother) double nomination for Romsdal Folk Museum

Reiulf Ramstad Arkitekter is proud to announce that the Romsdal Folk Museum in Molde, Norway, has been selected as a finalist for the 5th Annual Architizer A+Award - in the category for Cultural Building/Museum as well as for the Norwegian Årets trebyggeri 2016, award for the "Wooden Building of the Year 2016" !

Architizer A+Awards is the largest awards program focused on promoting and celebrating the year’s best architecture and products. Its mission is to nurture the appreciation of meaningful architecture in the world and champion its potential for a positive impact on everyday life.

It’s the 5th year that we are nominated with a project in the A + Awards and still very proud that we also won the Firm of The Year Award in 2015!

Our project was shortlisted by a jury panel of more than 400 distinguished luminaries and thought leaders from fields as diverse as fashion, publishing, product design, real estate development and tech. NOW IS YOUR TIME TO EXPRESS YOUR OPINION AND VOTE!

Årets trebyggeri is a partnership between Treteknisk, TreFokus and Byggeindustrien/bygg.no, and we are proud to have been selected as a finalist for this years award by a jury of construction professionals. The 3 nominated Buildings are judged according to criteria of innovative and/or original use of timber, high architectural quality, energy efficiency, area efficiency and economy, and contribution to the involved actors' skills development. The winner will be announced during the Annual Norwegian Construction Galla in Oslo on March 29th 2017!
