Searching for the identity of the place, it is easy to get lost in the various buildings located on the edge of a hill. A steep rocky sandstone hill on the site caught our attention. This type of rock tells about the history of the place and the local building traditions. By placing clear cuts into the rock formation, we make this identity of the place visible and reveal it to the public. The new building arises out of a groove, with a huge cantilevered entrance area, making its public functions visible and accessible.
