RRA has a permanent staff consisting of 13 graduate architects, one managing director, 2 administrative staff, and 2-4 permanent openings for architectural students. RRA’s dedicated employees bring versatile architectural experience and technical expertise to the office. The studio has completed projects of all scales and has employees with the legitimate experience, knowledge and creativity to solve various assignments in an innovative and qualitative manner.

Reiulf RamstadRole: Graduate Architect, Design Director Location: Oslo, Norway
Reiulf Ramstad received Dottore in Architettura from Istituto Universitario di Architettura di Venezia, Venice, Italy. He established Reiulf Ramstad Architects (RRA) in 1995 in order to create an architectural practice that would turn conceptual research and practical knowledge into driving forces of sustainable design. RRA has earned a reputation for innovative architecture, displaying deep understanding of the uniqueness of every site and program and rejecting standardized solutions. Reiulf has worked with various types of project as both design architect as well as project leader.
Apart from professional work as an architect, Reiulf is also involved in academic activities. He has earned professorship from Arkitekthøgskolen in Oslo and was a regular thesis advisor and juror in the Faculty of Architecture. Reiulf was acclaimed professionally as board member of NAL, the National Association of Norwegian Architects, in the period between 1997 and 2000, where he became vice president between 2000-2002. He has served as a jury member for many architectural competitions both domestically and internationally. In the recent years, following numerous awards and publicity of RRA’s projects, he has been invited to give lectures at various institutions around the world.
Kristin Stokke RamstadRole: Managing Director Location: Oslo, Norway
Graduated from Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) and the University of Oslo (UiO) 1997 with Bachelor's Degrees in Humanities and in Social Science, Master's Degree in Humanities from the Department of Philosophy, Classics, History of Art and Ideas, and studies at the Department of Public and International Law (UIO) Section for Labour Law 2004.
Responsible for RRAs daily operations, business development, PR/communication and human resources.
Anja H. StrandskogenRole: Graduate Architect Location: Oslo, Norway
Anja Hole Strandskogen, Graduate Architect MNAL, studied at the Oslo School of Architecture and Design (AHO) in 2000 and has since been employed as a part of the team at RRA. She has over 12 years experience in engineering and project management for RRA and is a responsible and resourceful person withextensive knowledge of the Planning and Building Act (PBA) and building applications.
Anja has throughout her 12 years of practice in the RRA gained comprehensive experience within planning and design of eg. housing, college- and university institutions, kindergartens, cultural centres and office buildings. Anja was the project architect of the Recycle Plant ISI, and additionally assistant planning group leader for University College Østfold, and is project architect for Cultural Centre Stjørdal in addition to several of RRAs villas and summerhouse projects. She has been member of project team for several of RRAs National Tourist Route projects, the Fagerborg kindergarten and various residential projects.
Christian Skram FuglsetRole: Graduate Architect Location: Oslo, Norway
Christian Skram Fuglset, Graduate Architect MNAL, studied at the Ecole Speciale d’Architecture in Paris and the Oslo School of Architecture and Design (AHO) and has since been employed as a part of the team at RRA. He has extensive design experience and is a key figure in RRAs competition team. Christian has experience at several levels of the project process, among others as the project architect of the new visitor centre at the Trollstigen plateau as part of Norwegian National Tourist Routes.
In addition, he has been a key project member of a number of projects, including Selvika in Havøysund for the National Tourist Routes and “Barentshouse” - the world’s tallest timber building, a centre for the Barents Region in Kirkenes. He is also involved in, among others, new public buildings for the Romsdal Museum in Molde, as well as a range of other on-going projects and the consecutive competition entries the office is involved in.
Anders TjønnelandRole: Graduate Architect Location: Oslo, Norway
Anders Tjønneland, Graduate Architect MNAL, studied at the Oslo School of Architecture and Design (AHO) in 1970, and has since participated in the design of several major national projects, including the headquarters of DNV (Det Norske Veritas) at Høvik, new headquarters for the Norwegian National Bank and the new airport at Gardermoen. For a period of 22 years during his career, he has worked at the firm Lund & Slaatto, the last 7 years as a shareholder / partner.
Since the summer of 2004, he has been employed as part of the team at RRA, and been responsible for issues concerning civil engineering / detailing. Anders has during his 8 years of experience at RRA gained considerable experience with the planning and design of various types of projects, including houses / cabins, college- and university institutions, transportation terminals and kindergartens. He has worked on projects such as the University College of Østfold, Halden, subway stations for KTP in Oslo and kindergardens for the Fagerborg congregation and Brønnøysund Municipality. Anders is the project architect and assistant planning group leader for Knarvik Community Church in the Lindas Municipality of Bergen.
Kanog-Anong “Nok“ NimakornRole: Graduate Architect Location: Oslo, Norway
Graduate Architect Kanog-Anong Nimakorn, or “Nok”, studied at the University of Washington, Seattle, and Chulalongkorn University, Bangkok. She has international work experience from both the U.S. and Thailand before joining RRA in 2006. Through 10 years of work experience as an architect, she has developed expertise in architectural design, CAD and Universal Design. She has worked with various types of projects, including the Tønsberg City Hall with NAV centre, Cultural Centre Stjørdal, Romsdal Museum, Oslo City Kiosks and apartment buildings in Oslo centre. Nok is also involved in several of RRAs villa and holiday home projects, as well as being the CAD manager at RRA.

He worked at several high profile practices in London before returning to Oslo in 2007, where he worked as project architect for Lund+Slaatto Architects. He joined RRA in 2014, and through 10 years of work experience, he has wide expertise in architectural design, and construction. He has worked with various types of projects, from high-end private residential buildings, through large scale commercial and housing projects to public buildings. He currently works as project architect on a new home for the elderly in Lier outside Drammen.
