A project like the Lund Science Center should be rooted in both tradition and innovation. Tradition, to bring the best of urban culture and to act as a marker in the landscape. The project will stand out as a beacon for the importance of society, research, ecological sustainability and environmental friendliness. At the same time, it will be an innovative and forward-looking institution with robust facilities. Here, work, culture, business, research and dissemination will work in interaction with the surrounding city in a functional and beautiful way. ”The Science Pond” is planned to serve as an efficient, pleasant and innovative visitor center. In addition, the center will serve as a workplace and meeting place, a creative hub for research throughout Scandinavia.
