The listed building serving as the High Court of Western Denmark until 2014 is being transformed into the new Viborg Museum.

The transformation will preserve the exterior appearance of the existing building, while introducing some radical changes inside what will become the new main entrance. The new entrance will feature a sculptural staircase that will connect all the seven different levels of the new museum.
