Happy holidays from Reiulf Ramstad Arkitekter !

Reiulf Ramstad Arkitekter's team, in both Oslo, Aarhus and Copenhagen, are happy to wish all our friends and collaborators a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year.

We take this opportunity to humbly thank you all for an architecturally and socially successful year 2022, during which we were trusted to work on more than 70 projects! Our commitment for good architecture has no boundaries, with projects scattered around and between Norway, Sweden, Denmark, France, Belgium, Germany, Scotland, and USA.

We also thank for the distinctions that some of our projects have received, such as the Danish Statens Kunstfond for Kornets Hus (House of grain), the double nomination to EU Mies van der Rohe Awards for Pilestredet 77-79 and Kornets Hus, the DogA-merket for Chemin des Carrières and Architizer A+Awards for Pilestredet 77-79, to name a few.

As general practitioners within the field of architecture, we are honored to be working on subjects ranging from the smallest cabins, to private and collective housing, health, landscape and cultural projects, adaptive reuse and rebuilt projects, as well as urban planning and bigger infrastructures developments.

We are proud to be working on two of Scandinavias biggest train stations at Oslo Central Station and Gøteborg, with the regulation phase for a new tower and renovation of Oslo S in Norway and the schematic design of Mittuppgången in Göteborg, Sweden, results from winning invited competitions.

We enjoy working on high-rise projects, such as our submitted competition proposal for Gasklockan in Stockholm, the Nordic Light tower in Oslo and the Lilleby tower, a housing project in Trondheim, as well as our project for Katrinebjerg in Aarhus, Denmark.

With our involvement in big-scale urban planning projects, we appreciate working on the regulation processes, that give us the possibility to influence the development of new neighborhoods. In the heart of Deinze, Belgium, the project Liv de Molens will propose new housing within an historic heritage site of mills, with commercial and cultural offers, surrounded with green space and bordered by the Leie river. We develop a similar approach for our projects in Sandakervein and Hovseter in Oslo, as well as Marienlyst in Denmark, where together with our clients, developers and the municipality, we aim at creating exciting, green - economically, environmentally and socially sustainable - future neighborhoods!

In 2022, we completed Ski Tårn housing project in Magasinparken, Sagene Wood Work in Oslo, the Cato Center pavilion in Son, Klyngetun and Rekketun recreational housing at Mosetertoppen ski resort to name some. We have active building sites also in Denmark at Sønderborg and in Copenhagen, for which we look forward to completion in 2023.

We won quite a few competitions in 2021/22, such as Norcemkaia in Slemmestad, Mittuppgången Train Station in Gothenburg, Bispevika B9 Housing Project in Oslo, Lilleby Housing Tower in Trondheim and Statens museum for kunst Danmark at Doverodde . All of which we are already developing and very much look forward to continue collaborating on with our clients in 2023.

With offices in Oslo, Aarhus and most recently in Copenhagen, we look forward to many new and interesting projects and collaborations also in 2023. More to come in 2023 - so stay tuned!

Happy Holidays!
